NEXT CAMP PAZ WEEKEND – April 27-28, 2013 register

This program began in September of 2003 and serves the adult family members of the children referred to Stepping Stones of Hope. Camp Paz for Grown-Ups runs concurrently with the children's camp. Adults focus first on their own grief journey, and then transition into how to best help the grieving children in their life.

For many adults, this program provides the first opportunity to focus on there unique feelings without worrying about their children, or worrying about how children may respond to a display of emotions. The majority of adult participants forge indescribable bonds with other participants, and many have formed significant friendships.

Themes of the weekend are similar to the Camp Paz for Kids program, and families are reunited on Sunday for a family ceremony and picnic.

Camp Paz for Grown-Ups is not mandatory for adults whose children are participating; however, Stepping Stones of Hope philosophically and fundamentally believes that the best possible support is provided for both children and adults simultaneously.
