Donna’s background is varied and multi-faceted. Her experience includes crisis intervention, human resource development, customer sales and service management, training and development, marketing, health and wellness motivational speaking, business owner and entrepreneur.
Donna was raised in the Midwest. She attended high school and college in North Dakota and Minnesota while working for Northwestern Bell. In the 60’s she transferred to Pacific Bell in Northern California, and attended the University of Berkely where she received her MBA in Management and Human Resource Management.
After 28 years, Donna retired to pursue her dreams. One of those dreams was to set up a non-profit organization which helped educate women, children and families of all cultural groups become emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically healthy. Donna is Founder and Director of International Health Oasis, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Donna is very active in her community. She is a member of the Business Professional Woman’s Organization and Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of a Homeowners Association, a FreeLife International Marketing Executive, and a Cosmetic Corporate Consultant for Line Chae’s Organic Skin Care. Donna is also the owner of Breast Cancer Survivor Services, L.L.C., a company that works with health care providers, makes referrals, and provides crisis intervention and health care services.
Donna is married to Jere Detwiler and has two stepchildren. Staci is 24, and Keith is 22, both are graduates of Arizona State University.
Donna loves the outdoors. She likes to golf, fish, read, travel the world, medicate and have fun “Celebrating Life.”
